Crampbark is also called High-Bush Cranberry, Squaw Bush, and European Cranberry Bush. The inner bark makes an effective relaxant, and is able to relieve cramps, menstrual pain, and muscle spasms. Crampbark is high in calcium, chromium, cobalt, Iron, Magnesium, and silicon. Crampbark was listed in the United States Pharmacopoeia 1894 - 1916 as a sedative and antispasmodic. |
